Join Miss Cheryl as she leads the children and adults in rowing their 🛶 boats on a jungle river, traveling in a 🚀 rocket ship to the moon, baking 🍪 cookies in the kitchen, or crawling around like the itsy, bitsy, spider! 🕷️
About Miss Cheryl
🎹 Miss Cheryl is an early childhood music educator and entertainer. Her life-long passion for music began as a young child playing the piano and singing church music with her family. The love and joy of music Cheryl experienced as a young child was the motivation for her to share that same love and joy with children in her teaching!
🎵 Cheryl has a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in vocal performance from Western CT State University. She began her music and movement journey by training as a Kindermusik educator. Cheryl then went on to create her own music curriculum for early learning centers by utilizing traditional American and multicultural songs, and has been teaching fun and engaging music and movement classes in child care centers in the CT area for over 18 years!
🎶 In addition to teaching in schools, Cheryl offers family classes, musical birthday entertainment, special events and online song videos. Cheryl also has over 20 years of performing experience in church worship leading, both vocally and instrumentally on piano and guitar.
✏️ Miss Cheryl writes many of her own original children's songs and continues to pursue opportunities to produce and share her music!
