Monthly Family Classes
Family Music & Movement Classes combine babies to 5-year-olds and their loving grownups. Special attention is given to nurturing the family bond, as people of all ages come together to enjoy a fun and meaningful experience through music and movement.
In each 45-minute Family Class, participants will begin with free play, and then jump into the musical fun with finger-plays, simple songs, exploration with simple percussion instruments, movement, dance, imaginative play, and musical story-time. Lessons are brought to life with puppets, scarves, books, quality recordings & guitar accompaniment!
The entire family is invited to take part in this valuable musical experience, and any caregiver—whether parents, grandparents, or nannies—are welcome to bring the child(ren) to class.
Currently, monthly Saturday family music and movement classes are being offered, which include the following home materials:
A home materials set includes 1 early childhood percussion instrument or puppet, along with a dancing scarf, a digital song-sheet of highlighted songs, and access to children's online videos teaching the highlighted songs.
