About Miss Cheryl
🎹 Miss Cheryl is an early childhood music educator and entertainer. Her life-long passion for music began as a young child playing the piano and singing church music with her family. The love and joy of music Cheryl experienced as a young child was the motivation for her to share that same love and joy with children in her teaching!
🎵 Cheryl has a Bachelor of Music (BM) degree in vocal performance from Western CT State University. She began her music and movement training as a Kindermusik educator. Cheryl then created her own music curriculum for early learning centers by utilizing traditional American and multicultural songs, and has been teaching fun and engaging music and movement classes in the CT area for over 20 years!
🎶 In addition to teaching preschool music & movement classes, Miss Cheryl teaches Lil' Music Makers family classes for children 0 to 5, and offers online song videos, including a baby & toddler sign language video series. ✏️ Miss Cheryl writes many of her own original children's songs and continues to pursue opportunities to produce and share her music!
